Dr. Gabber's mental problems portray a disruptive landscape of experimental electronica: breaking the era, they are marked by a love for the party, for electronic music but also for critical discourses. With unforgettable rhythmic passages that turn into melodic noise, Jesica Sarraf brings us a debut proposal that although it brushes the industrial techno from the root, it is much more than that. Critical, polygamist and anti-capitalist imagery is accompanied by pulsating moments of synthwave, dark ambient and industrial. With an arsenal of hardware that invites acid frequencies and emanates sharp rhythms that make your skin crawl, at the same time the EP throws an accompaniment of collaborators (Sylvia Pop, Faraonika, Aguadelafuente and Art Keto) with voices from the global south representing that in Latin America new post-industrial poetics and experimental hooks that transcend times and even names can be made. A debut EP that with only 4 tracks makes clear what can be expressed from new places, emanating another perspective of Latin, industrial and sui generis; thus premiering the new label, Voltage Control.
